Staff Training Institute is the Train Of Trainers department of Productivity & Vocational Training Department-ministry affiliated to trade & industry .It is one of the important pillars in training process success and raising the workers technical level of different industry sectors STI provide the following services and programs: - 1. Technical skills development programs in various specializations (2016-2017 Annex to courses) such as of mechanics / programs electricity / drawing & mechanical design software programs /, CNC machines / automotive programs / Computer / English language programs until the fifth level. 2. Transformational program which are the following:: -  transform individuals from technical occupations to other occupations according to labor market needs& according to the customer's request  transform individuals from Administrative positions to technical occupations This is done for all PVTD occupations such as: - Welding / refrigeration and air conditioning / electricity / workshops machines operation / Alumetal / or from an occupational career to another according to labor market needs, according to the customer's request. 3- Measure the skill level / vocational guidance: - Measure the technical skill level of the Technical workforce in different occupation according to agreed standards. 4- Career guidance: - Conduct vocational career guidance to test the appropriate Occupation to the capabilities and willingness innate tests. 5- Operating and manufacturing processes: - STI Workshops and labs fully equipped for use in the following: Manufacture of spare parts / Gears / Craft Sheet metal / motor winding / maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning / repair all kinds of household appliances / Repair the commercial refrigeration units / Rewind all kinds of motors / metal forming / manufacturing windows / metal doors / ladders / Fireplaces ... ... lathe / milling / artifacts / belts / grinding / age tool.... . 6- Pedagogical training TOT for the following: -  Those in charge of teaching and training both teachers / trainers – in vocational training centers, companies and bodies training centers  Those in charge of supervision and guidance.
