St. Fidelis College, Vikasnagar, Lucknow, a Christian Catholic minority institution established in 1977 under the patronage of St.Fidelis, manages and administers by a religious, charitable society engaged in educational and social work duly registered under the Registration of Societies Act No. XXI of 1860. It is an unaided minority, co-educational institution, where boys and girls grow up together in a healthy atmosphere of equality and mutual respect. To produce an atmosphere intellectual enlightened, spiritually inspired, emotionally balanced, morally upright, socially committed, accomplished. To create a society in which all may have life-life in its fullness, liberated from the shackles and bondage of ignorance and oppression. Where people would accept each other as sisters and brothers under the common parenthood of God. The aim of this religious body is to develop in the pupils those qualities that will make them worthy citizens of India. Besides instruction, the College aims at the development of the personality of the student. Hence education is directed towards the training of the pupil’s intellectual, moral, emotional, physical, and aesthetic endowments and such other cultural attainments as are suitable for boys and girls.
