Welcome to Specialist Orthodontic Practice, Glenageary. In September 2017, Finn took over the practice from Dr. Murray, who will continue to work alongside Finn and the team. Finn graduated from NUI Cork dental school in 2002 and then lived and worked in the UK and Australia, where he worked in private practice and teaching hospitals. Between 2006 and 2009, he trained to become a specialist orthodontist at Hong Kong University and received his specialist membership diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in 2011. Finn then returned to the UK and studied for his PhD in orthodontics at King's College, London, which he completed in 2017. Finn's patients benefit from his extensive experience in private and NHS orthodontic practice as well as his commitment to constantly further his professional knowledge and skills through advanced academic research. He offers the complete range of orthodontic treatments as his expertise spans the whole spectrum of treatment modalities, including ▪ discrete brace systems ▪ tooth coloured brace systems ▪ lingual brace systems (Incognito,WIN , and Orthorobot) ▪ self-ligating systems (Damon) ▪ aligner systems (Invisalign and Invisalign teen) Finn is a member of the Irish Dental Association, Orthodontic Society of Ireland, Irish Society for Disability and Oral Health, the European Orthodontic Society, Craniofacial Society of Great Britain and Ireland, the Society for Developmental Biology and he holds a provisional membership of the European Board of Orthodontists (by examination). His ongoing research interests focus on craniofacial development as well as orthodontic clinical trials and materials and he maintains active links with King's College and HKU.
