There are now more than 12,770 SPAR stores in over 45 countries on four continents, meeting the needs of over 13.5 million consumers every day. SPAR International sought partners in the Caucasus region to expand the brand’s presence in several countries. Following Georgia, Azerbaijan was the second country in the region to join the global SPAR family. After research into possible partners, Araz was selected to operate SPAR in the market. A company servicing more than 37,000 daily customers, Araz operates convenience stores and neighbourhood supermarkets.
