Since opening its doors in 2015, Space Tank Studio has supported the early stage growth of over 800 niche manufacturing businesses and product development companies, many of whom have developed and commercialised innovative products that use technologies in novel ways. Space Tank specialises in traditional and advanced manufacturing, electronic and mechanical engineering, user centred design and rapid prototyping. Over 720 product developers have used Space Tank to learn business, design and prototyping technology skills. 65 entrepreneurs and small businesses have been fulltime tenants at Space Tank conducting R&D and commercialisation of new physical products for example; FREO2 oxygen delivery systems, Freeform carbon 3Dprinting, Bastion Cycles, UpperLimb Co therapeutics and Jaunt Motors Electric Vehicles.
