Overview

The Southern Rugby Alliance is a not-for-profit organisation that was established in 2020 to assist the development of grass roots rugby in the southern regions of Sydney (including the St George Area, Sutherland Shire, Illawarra, Campbelltown, Southern Highlands and Macarthur regions). Our main focus is to increase participation in the sport at all levels, develop legitimate rugby pathways for players in the region and to help the broader rugby community interconnect with each other to facilitate increase business opportunities, create greater social connection and promote mental health and well being. One of our main goals is harness the power of the rugby business community to ensure the sustainability of rugby union in our catchment area. This includes hosting networking events for like minded businesses to connect and support each other. In helping each other become more successful, it is our hope that this might enable a greater financial contribution to our great game and subsequently allow the Southern Rugby Alliance to achieve our goals.
