Established in the year 1959 by Mr.S.Thiagharajan, the present Chairman, known as the ‘Father of Ductile Iron’ in India. The Foundry was officially inaugurated by Sri. R.Venkataraman the then Minister of Industries of the State of Tamil Nadu and presided by Sri.K.Kamaraj, Chief Minister of the State of Tamil Nadu. The initial production of Grey Iron castings was done using Cupola. Later entered into a Technical Collaboration with International Mond Nickel Company of UK to manufacture Ductile Iron castings as it was a patented product. We then imported our first Electric Induction melting furnace from Sweden. One of the earliest in the country to have an Electric Induction Melting furnace. Specializing in the manufacture of all grades of Ductile Iron castings of low volume heavy weight high quality castings. 90% of the castings manufactured are of Radiographic quality. Always in the forefront of technologies and adapting the latest technologies and development in the Foundry Industry.
