Overview
Soundskrit is fundamentally changing how sound is measured to bring the next generation of consumer audio. The many emerging audio and voice interfaces have driven a need to capture sound while remaining robust to noise in our environment. Because traditional pressure-based microphones pick up sound coming from every direction, arrays of multiple microphones are needed to listen to a specific direction and ignore surrounding noise. This comes at the cost of increased size and decreased audio quality. Our bio-inspired MEMS microphones are inherently directional, bringing the power of traditional microphone arrays into a single device. Our microphones cut through unwanted background noise to isolate your voice with uncompromised quality.
