Solar Equipment Systems, LLC (SES) is an Original Equipment Manufacture that has developed revolutionary patent-pending machinery that automates and improves the PVD backing tube-to-target indium bonding process. Our products drastically increase output of bonded assemblies while dramatically reducing costs, improving quality and extending target life. Solar Equipment Systems, LLC’s new automated processes leverage state-of-the-art heat controllers, mandrels and targets are preheated and ready to be bonded as soon as they enter the process module. The filling process takes sixty seconds, greatly increasing target assembly throughput in comparison to the manual employee, without the added OSHA concerns of an employee in a heat suit. Thermocouples and fiber-optic sensors ensure accurate filling with zero overflow or spillage, saving the manufacturer costly waste, rework, and scrap. The quality of our product is second to none in the industry. We use only the highest quality equipment including products from Watlow, Siemens, Keyence, Dorner and Ametek. Completed target assemblies created from our MTB1000 Series machine have been independently tested and validated by a third party laboratory.
