Theodore Sohnen Announces Proactive NCND Regarding SGS Reports Most recently Sohnen Coal sales has been exposed to an SGS report on an American coal that was incorrect in that one of the aspects of the lab report is fundamentally impossible to achieve in the Appalachian Region of the United States. Mr. Sohnen reports that his experience with a situation several years ago has contributed to a decision to revise all agreements with clients of SCS. Noting that Sohnen Coal Sales prevailed in a West Virginia Supreme Court Case whereby lab reports were altered and the plaintiff attempted to make Sohnen Coal Sales responsible, the positive result for his company has also given Mr. Sohnen a heightened sensitivity to the integrity required to do good business. He believes that an industry wide initiative is in order. In this difficult market Mr. Sohnen has taken the proactive stance of reissuing all agreements with his valued clients and partners reiterating the importance of the integrity of lab reports or other proprietary documents and the consequences of not doing so. Mr. Sohnen believes that his clients will be compelled to follow this lead with their colleagues.
