Sofrocay is the federating institution of Caycedian Sophrology® (SC®). Founded in 1991 by Pr Alfonso Caycedo, Sofrocay is the organisation that represents Sophrology in its authentic form as a discipline of research and teaching of the Caycedo Method® in its various fields of application. Sophrology is a discipline and a training method for the development of human values and capacities. It provides the means to discover what is meaningful to oneself and supports the human being in his or her drive towards the best of himself or herself. Its objective is to integrate the method into one's daily life. Its regular practice will have positive effects on the overall health, will allow to live with serenity and will give meaning to one's existence.
