SLĀ Foundation is an Austin nonprofit, private operating foundation focused on achieving a better tomorrow by inspiring today's youth to dream big and achieve greatness. We believe "It's hard to dream big if you don't know what's out there." All of our programming is centered around this belief, and is accessible via Opportunity Zone - The Free SLĀ Foundation Portal. Meet OZ - Empowering the Youth of Today for a Better Tomorrow Opportunity Zone is SLĀ Foundation's FREE portal providing access to all of our initiatives: • Speaker Series - a platform for teachers to bring young professionals into their classrooms and inspire their students. • The Power of Storytelling Podcast - a searchable collection of inspirational stories from diverse group of young professionals. • Corporate Immersions - SLĀ hosted field trips to local corporate offices to get a fully immersive experience. • Seminar Series - SLĀ led, after-school classes on real-life topics ranging from Personal Finance to LinkedIn 101 to Fitness & Nutrition. • College Immersions - SLĀ hosted field trips to area universities with SLĀ mentor chaperons. • Internships/Part-time Jobs - opportunities specifically targeted towards high-school students exploring professional careers.
