Skills Launchpad Plymouth is our local emergency response to help the city’s people, communities and businesses through the impact of Covid19 by investing in building skills to help people move forward into meaningful employment and achieve positive skills outcomes. Working in city-wide partnership, Skills Launchpad Plymouth is our city’s new FREE one-stop-shop service which aims to help our people equip themselves with the skills and confidence that they will need to play a part in our city’s future. Skills Launchpad Plymouth offers support to those who are facing redundancy through the Adult Hub and targeted support for our young people through the Youth Hub. We will provide information, advice and guidance including support for creating your own careers and skills action plan. We will help you to become work ready and equipped with the right skills. By working closely with our local employers, we will help match you to real opportunities for pathways into employment, apprenticeships, work experience, training, education, volunteering and self-employment.
