Overview

Sister Island Oysters is a small-scale, women-run oyster farm off the coast of Freeport, ME founded in 2021. We grow for community consumption, but Sister Island Oysters is also a business of innovation and creativity. We work to provide delicious, sustainably sourced, local food, but we also work on issues and solutions that face our marine ecosystem, such as invasive species and the wonderful world of Kelp.
