SIDE’s vision is to economically empower organizations and individuals, to be financially sustainable and create value. We empower individuals through volunteering opportunities to improve their employability skills, and we empower organizations, NGOs and small businesses, by providing them with a young trained workforce to help them grow. Our mission is to serve as the bridge between volunteers looking for work experience, and organizations looking for a volunteering workforce, with the aim of creating high impact value to the community. We develop programs for Corporate Volunteering and CSR, and we help individuals and institutions to choose the best NGOs to support for the greatest community impact. In 2017, we impacted over 300 volunteers and 10 organizations. Our main challenge for 2018 is to scale our programs to reach over 1000 volunteers and 50 organizations, with a focus on youth at risk and organizations in small towns and remote areas of the country.
