The mission of the Shreveport-Bossier Business Alliance for Higher Education is to promote economic development by aligning the offerings of higher education with the needs of the business community: 1. Increase the educational attainment of Shreveport-Bossier residents 2. Enhance the ability of local colleges and universities to fulfill the current and future workforce needs of employers in Northwest Louisiana 3. Leverage education to drive economic development in the Shreveport-Bossier region
