Shining Star Learning Hub (SSLH) is a Special Needs Education Centre, aimed at building an inclusive community by: - Preparing the children for the future - Introducing the children to the community - Bringing out the talents in the individuals SSLH was establish in July 2015 by Lee Yu Ying and Jessica Ganesha who believed that a better system which incorporated the ideology of fun and functional learning was much needed for the Special Ones. Throughout the years, SSLH has had the privilege of working with toddlers, young children, adolescents and young adults with a range of special needs; from Autism to Global Developmental Delay. SSLH places great importance in providing best services for the Special Ones, by ensuring that our therapists are well-trained. We also hold tightly our 3 core values, namely: 1. Joyful Teaching and Learning Experience 2. Ethical and Compassionate Conduct 3. Harmonious Communications and Support The following are the list of some of our services offered for the Special Ones: - Early Intervention Program - School Inclusion Program - Job Coaching - Speech & Occupational Therapy Consultations Additionally, we also offer Training/ Support for educators within this field: - Behavioural Program Technician Training - Registered Behaviour Technician Training We hope to continue benefiting the Special Ones, educators and caregivers as much as possible!
