Our business develops, builds, owns and operates our own wind energy sites in Shetland. The business was established in 1992 by two families and moved to a development stage in 1998. We now have decades of experience running generation sites and developing a range of projects. We are a small company within the commercial energy market. We also provide selective services to the emerging independent turbine maintenance market. The business has recently been through a generational shift ready for the future. There is growing demand for renewable energy and Shetland Aerogenerators is well placed to be an active leader in the transition to net zero.
