Shaheen Carbonates is a project by Shaheen Grinding Mills in the biggest industrial estate launched in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Shaheen Grinding Mills has emerged as the market leader and trend setter of Specialty Minerals in Pakistan with multiple production facilities and a strong distribution network. Founded by Ch Bashir Ahmad in 1966 in Lahore, Pakistan. Initially the company was named Shaheen Chemical Industry which was later changed to Shaheen Stone Grinding PVT ltd. Mr. Bashir's son Ch Iftikhar Bashir joined the business as the CEO of Shaheen Stone Grinding who later set up multiple other production facilities. The largest mineral production facility of Pakistan set up by Mr. Ch Iftikhar Bashir in Lahore was Shaheen Grinding Mills PVT ltd of Pakistan. Next he set up a production facility in Mardan KPK under the name Shaheen Mineral Processing and Shaheen Carbonates in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Currently another unit is being set up in Swabi, KPK under the name Eagle Carbonates. Products being made at Shaheen are: 1. Ground Calcium Carbonate / Limestone Powder /Brighty 2.
