SetPatrol is an European community for filmmakers made by filmmakers. SetPatrol’s main mission is to solve problems that every filmmaker faces; the cost and availability of professional gear to rent and buy. It is our first priority to be a democratized platform for all storytellers to interact and collaborate. SetPatrol is a marketplace where people who need high-end photography and film equipment can find people who are willing to rent it out. Our platform gives artists access to the tools they need and the financial freedom they desire in order to focus on their craft. Users can list every type of photo/video related piece of equipment, rent it directly to other professionals, and make money while they aren't using it. SetPatrol reshapes the idea of camera gear rental: owners can safely rent out their gear when they’re not using it. Renters can save more than 50% and get insurance for a fraction of the price. Buying gear with all the options out there isn’t always the best choice, especially when most of what filmmakers own lying unused. SetPatrol helps owners to make money renting out their gear when they’re not using it, and renters to cut out a major cost. All users are insured and vetted, and can rely on a safe service. Also users can find gear close to where they needed, and the face to face rental makes the process smooth and even safer. There’s no limit for the time users can rent, on average a production lasts 3 to 5 days. Every user can potentially be a vendor, so the kind of gear that can be found on the platform vary from high end specialist equipment to DSLRs, drones, lights, sound equipment etc. there’s no limit to what users can rent.
