Sergio Cattaneo Architetti SA was founded in 1985 in Bellinzona. The office, located in a former brewery located in the city center, currently consists of about ten employees. Since 2022 the practice opened a new location in Zurich, right next to the Kunsthaus, to better manage the projects in the rest of Switzerland. The mainly private mandates of the first years of activity were then diversified also in the public field with administrative, commercial and cultural buildings, obtained through direct assignments and architectural competitions. The office is active in a diversified manner in the realization of new projects, in the restoration of monuments and in consulting in the field of architecture and urban planning. Sergio Cattaneo is also active in various juries at local and national level.
