Scottish Apprenticeships demonstrate and promote the benefits work-based learning brings to businesses, individuals and the Scottish economy. Apprenticeship jobs provide people with the chance to work, learn and earn to get the skills employers want. Apprenticeships provide employers with the critical skills to adapt, sustain and strengthen their business. Skills Development Scotland administers Scottish Apprenticeships on behalf of Scottish Government, which incorporates Foundation Apprenticeships, Modern Apprenticeships and Graduate Apprenticeships.
