Overview

WHAT IS PROTÉGÉ? Established in 2009, The Schulich Protégé Program (SPP) is one of the most recognizable student-run clubs at Schulich and is the largest student-run mentorship club at York University. Our vision is to sculpt students into future business leaders by developing them academically, socially and professionally using a 1-on-1 mentorship approach. We match incoming first year students with an upper year mentor to help ease their transition into university. We develop our members through the Protégé Mentorship Curriculum which consists of three levels of engagement: Peer-to-Peer, Small Network and Community Network. Peer-to-Peer refers to strategic moves made to initiate and foster the 1-on-1 relationship between a mentor and a mentee. Small Network engagement is initiated by Head Mentors and the Protégé executive team to foster network building in smaller groups. Community Network engagement is the creation of organization wide events that give our members the opportunity to be part of what is the entirety of the Protégé network. #FindyourSPPark Like us on Facebook! http://www.facebook.com/SchulichProtege Follow us on Twitter! https://twitter.com/schulichprotege
