The office of the counselling services aims at helping students reach their highest academic and personal potential. This may involve helping with personal, learning and career concerns and promoting success and wellness among them. We provide a confidential atmosphere in which students can explore any topic or situation and discuss any concerns they may have. The students are helped to work through their problems, to develop self-awareness, and to overcome problems. The Counselling Cell has a Peer Help Group Comprising nearly 25 students from all branches/year. Their main task is to identify the students who need to be counselled, refer them to the counsellor, and monitor their improvement. We offer free and confidential counselling to students on an individual or group basis. We also conduct workshops and presentations on a variety of psychological issues. An organisation “YourDost” has also been engaged by the institute for online counselling.
