The Saudi Padel Committee was established in 2018 under the umbrella of the Saudi Tennis Federation, and officially became independent in 2021. In the same year, the Committee applied to join the International Padel Federation and the Asian Padel Federation, to begin the process of organizing local classification tournaments, in addition to its external participation and planning to host international and global tournaments. The competitions are held locally according to the technical level for all age groups. The classification tournaments are dedicated to classifying the players who move to compete for the tournaments of the best ranked players based on the points the player collects in the matches, and the Saudi Grand Championship is dedicated to the conclusion of the competitions for the best ranked players. The local Padel championships also include competitions for women's and juniors and the league of authorities and sectors.
