Overview

We are Saline, Michigan. Founded on the banks of the river that shares our name, this place has long been a magnetic force drawing people here to take advantage of our unique flavor. From the early days of the Sauk, and then on to French traders, our natural salt springs both shaped our identity and fueled our growth. We were instrumental in the growth and expansion of our great state. Founded along the Military Road, our forefather surveyed the path from Detroit to Chicago, exploring much of Southern Michigan, yet he was drawn to settle here. In the nearly 200 years since, Saline has constantly grown and changed. Our history can be soaked in through the architecture of our downtown. Our energy can been felt at a hornets game on Friday nights. We are quintessential small town, we are uniquely Michigan, and we have always been focused on drawing out one’s natural flavor. We invite you to explore the place we call home. Shop in our locally owned boutiques. Discover our impeccable taste. Explore all that we have brewing. Make yourself comfortable. Welcome to Historic Saline. Small Town Michigan Flavor.
