Welcome to the SAB World of Beer, the home of beer in South Africa. Opened in 1995 as a museum designed to celebrate a century of brewing mastery at South African Breweries (SAB), today the World of Beer is an award-winning tourist attraction and exceptional conferencing venue. Our beer tour has been developed and perfected to offer insight into the history and culture of beer, and you are welcome to experience it together with our beer tastings or monthly five-course beer-pairing lunches. We also combine our beer tour with trips to SAB’s Alrode Brewery, the largest brewery in Africa. The World of Beer is also a unique conferencing venue, boasting first-class facilities designed to suit your every need.
