Overview
Run Hope Work (RHW) is a registered 501c3 non-profit that was founded in 2014. Our mission is to empower young people to transform their lives. Beyond serving as just a job training program, RHW recognizes that success in life depends on character as much as abilities and opportunities. RHW inspires, engages and strengthens each participant and changes lives. RHW helps provide a pathway out of poverty for underserved DC youth ages 18-24. By utilizing a holistic approach that combines physical, mental and vocational training, RHW helps promote overall well-being and empower youth for long-term employment. We provide “learn and earn” pre-apprenticeship training with integrated supplemental services that include soft skills workshops, running sessions, job readiness services, educational supports, and mentoring. Upon graduation, RHW youth earn job placement and ongoing employment support.
