RTG Energy invests capital, nurtures, refines and commercially deploys technologies that promote secure, affordable and sustainable energy and can form part of our society’s transition to a market-oriented low-carbon energy sector. Innovation and technology developments in the energy sector are key to economic stability and critical for society to meet its climate goals. Some of the most promising innovations that might dramatically accelerate society’s transition to a clean energy economy have already been developed. At RTG Energy, we provide capital as well as technical and commercial support for these innovations to be rapidly deployed to market, enabling inventors to execute that critical step to deploy their technology with the right balance of resources and experienced strategic leadership. We focus on the following three areas: New Energy Generation: New ways of cost effectively and sustainably generating energy such as regenerating torque, heat, plasma, buoyancy and pressure will revolutionize clean affordable local power generation technologies. Waste To Value: Technologies that will convert, productively utilize or minimize hydrocarbons and other gas waste streams from existing energy infrastructure. Advanced Storage and Innovation: Critical ‘building block’ technologies that will significantly contribute toward the industry objectives of a clean-energy based economy by contributing to low-cost energy storage and low-cost distribution of power. This area includes energy storage, as well as the components of larger technologies and novel materials.
