Royal Oaks Golf Club is a breath-taking golf course located in Moncton New Brunswick designed by Rees Jones. Royal Oaks being Rees' first course in Canada. Since entering the field of golf course architecture in 1964, Rees, the son of legendary architect Robert Trent Jones, has designed or redesigned more than 100 golf courses, many of which are widely recognized to be among the very best in the game. In 1995, Golf World magazine honored Rees by selecting him as Architect of the Year and Golf Digest has consistently included Rees on its select list of the five top present-day golf course architects. A number of courses designed or significantly remodeled by Rees Jones have hosted or been selected as sites for several National and International Tournaments.
