Overview

Roslin Innovation Centre is new £30 million multi-purpose and multi occupancy gateway development on the University of Edinburgh’s Easter Bush Campus in Midlothian, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city. Together with partners and stakeholders, the Campus has the largest concentration of animal science related expertise anywhere in Europe. Flexible office and laboratory space is available for lease, accommodating over 285 laboratory workstations and office space for up to 380 scientists over a 41,000 sq ft area much of this with full height glazing affording views out to the adjacent Midlothian countryside. Tenants vary in size from mid-sized anchor tenants to smaller tenants on an “easy in, easy out” 12 month lease basis. All are international in their outlook and a good mix of established, local/multinational, start-up/spin out companies; charities and some internal University business units, with innovation at their core. We offer space where people can communicate physically and intellectually, and provide a gathering space that allows meeting and interaction from across the Campus, whilst also serving as an information point for the general public. Shared facilities such as a gym and student services are available for staff, tenants, students and visitors and the Easter Bush Science Outreach Centre (EBSOC) created to develop public engagement.
