Overview

Romney Marsh Wools is owned and run by Kristina & Paul Boulden and was born through a firm belief in raising the awareness of all the benefits wool can bring. A wide range of products are produced using our own Romney wool including throws, clothing, gifts, toiletries and much more. Based just outside Aldington, Romney Marsh Wools produce a beautiful range of products using the wool from their own flock of sheep, including throws, clothing, yarn & fleece as well as lanolin-rich soaps, hand wash & toiletries. Each year after shearing our sheep we carefully hand pick the highest quality Romney and Merino fleeces from our own flock which are then used to create our special recipe of wool. Whilst the Merino is world famous for its very fine and soft wool, the Romney’s provide a long and fine staple to create a semi- lustrous fiber and thanks to its versatility is an ideal choice for knitwear, yarn and cloth... in combination it completes our range making it wonderful to touch and wear. Besides being a renewable and natural resource, the fleece provides valuable lanolin. Romney Marsh Wools uses this beneficial product and we have a lovely range of soaps, hand and body lotion and shampoos; lightly fragranced and creamy. Only the highest quality ingredients, not tested on animals, create gently soothing and smoothing lotions and soaps, all of which are long lasting and hydrating. Our fleeces are hand processed and woven in the UK by experienced weavers working in the traditional way. It takes about six months for the raw fleece to be turned into our unique premium range to add flair and style to your home. We offer nationwide delivery of our full range and trade enquiries are always welcome.
