The School Of Rural Management (SRM) owes its origin to XIMB’s RM specialization program. It continues the legacy of molding RM professionals since 1995. Here students are acquainted with the vision and values of excellence, integrity, inclusiveness, compassion, and ethics set by XIM University. Since its inception in 1995, XIMB has offered a functional specialization in RM in the PGDM program. A full-fledged 2-year PGDM-RM program was launched in 2014. This is now offered as MBA-RM, the flagship program of the School of Rural Management. In this exquisite world of HR, finance, marketing, supply chain, operations, and business managers, we forget to take accountability for those who are at the bottom of the pyramid, deprived, and facing looming issues. Hence, School of Rural Management focuses on fortifying proficient, passionate, and skilled rural managers with a comprehensive understanding of rural India, the pressing issues, social reforms, developing and enhancing government policies, to name a few. Our program empowers our students with the knowledge, skills, and the long-term vision that leads to a committed service to the society, working with compassion for the growth and upliftment of our rural sectors. Our core curriculum is designed collaboratively by stalwarts from both academia and industry. The course content is delivered by a world-class faculty. Top-notch industry visionaries and our esteemed alumni regularly visit the campus to share their experiences and critical insights, thus enlightening the students with the real-world scenario, emerging trends deftly amalgamated with the theoretical knowledge. Apart from this industry connect talks, we also organize Abhivyakti – the RM business conclave, ICRM - International Conference on Rural Management, NCRM - National Colloquium on Rural Management, RM Leadership Summit and Safarnama- An informal alumnus interaction session.
