Royal Liver Building 360 tour

Overview

Royal Liver Building 360 is a city landmark with a unique viewpoint and an immersive experiential tour. We take responsibility for sharing the history of this building with locally based and friendly tour guides delivering a thought provoking and authentic experience. We love what we do. We bring the history home Visitors start in our basement visitors centre with unique pieces from the buildings history including original drawings by architect Walter Aubrey Thomas as well as the chance to take a picture with a Liver Bird using our AR technology app. Our fully guided tour takes in 3 separate areas including 2 outdoor viewing platforms - The 10th floor takes you out on to the flat roof over looking the River Mersey giving you your first views across into the Wirral and as far as Snowdonia. It is also the closest external point you can get to the "Great George Liver Clocks". These amazing pieces of engineering are the largest electronically driven clocks in the UK. - After ascending to the 14th floor we go into the mechanism room and behind the clock faces for a digitally mapped 270 degree projected audio visual experience. The 9 minute video tells the history of Liverpool as seen by the Liver Birds sitting atop the building in a fun and vibrant way - Finally visitors make the way to the 15th floor of the West Clock tower and outside for their 360 degree views of the Liverpool City Region and beyond. With stunning views in every direction as well as being the closest point to the Liver Birds the public can go. Our presenters are with you throughout the tour to answer any questions as well as tell you all about the building, city and beyond
