The RJK Memorial Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to bringing awareness to the devastation that addiction causes families. Our goal is a vision of ending the stigma around addiction and creating a community for those who have been impacted, we want to increase the knowledge and awareness of its followers and the public on the opioid crisis, mental health, addiction and devastation it is causing by researching, studying and promoting that research to its followers and 5K participants. I lost my little brother Ross Kearns on April 30th, 2020 to the opioid crisis and started this foundation in his name to create a legacy for Ross & others who have lost to addiction, while supporting change for the future. We will use evidence-based research to advocate for policy changes at both the state and federal level and will put on an annual Running for Ross-Rise up to Addication-5K Fundraiser that will help bring awareness to the devastation that addiction and mental health causes families it will also help support those that need help finding and paying for treatment along with ending the stigma around addiction.
