Resting Reef is a meaningful memorial and burial service that regenerates marine biodiversity, sequesters carbon, filters water and prevents coastal erosion. Resting Reef is tackling two big problems: The polluting death industry and restoring lost marine ecosystems. By connecting two seemingly unrelated industries, we give people a purposeful place to rest and build legacies that nourish and accommodate marine growth.
