Overview

The Eco-Drive, when combined with a DC HVAC unit, is an innovative idle reduction system that allows the asset’s main engine to be shut down at idle, whilst providing sufficient power or charge capacity to run the air conditioning and other critical operating systems. The Eco-Drive therefore significantly reduces main engine fuel costs, operating hours and importantly - carbon emissions. The Eco-Drive consumes just 1.2 liters of diesel per hour and is powered by the reliable CAT C0.5 engine, featuring both auto and manual start functions. Back by CAT global parts and supply, the Eco-Drive ensures simple integration and trouble free use. Its small form factor unit (600x600x700), is designed for a low impact installation on the deck of an asset, with minimal impact on the asset itself.
