Overview

Our farm is located in Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada where we have access to a local strain of algae and pristine alpine water. We are one of the first companies to use proprietary photobioreactors for the commercial production of algae for the purpose of extracting high value bioactive components for the nutraceutical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. The Company generates up to 50% higher yields and a pure, uniform product compared to traditional producers who use open ponds, which are subject to sunlight and weather variations, and outdoor contamination. We use a room temperature oil based cold infusion process which is chemical free. The Company's first product is Astaxanthin derived from a strain of marine algae, Haematococcus pluvialis (the most abundant source of astaxanthin). H. pluvialis is considered to be the diva of algae and is extremely difficult to grow at scale. We sell or Regenurex brand of Astaxanthin directly to consumers and in white label form. www.regenurex.com Naturally sourced Astaxanthin is a high value carotenoid anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant used in natural health products, and is the most potent antioxidant in nature. It is 6,000 times stronger than Vitamin C and 550 times stronger than Vitamin E. Astaxanthin’s unique chemical structure allows it to protect the entire cell - both outside the cell wall and inside the cell, and to cross the blood brain and blood retina barriers. Among other things, Astaxanthin neutralizes damaging free radicals known to cause oxidative stress and inflammation, the biological underpinnings of the aging process and of many human conditions. Strong clinical evidence supports product claims related to human health including joint, tendon, muscle and arthritic pain relief, exercoise recovery, cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular, inflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases, eye health, skin health and brain health.
