REE Minerals AS is dedicated to developing the Fen field, which contains Europe’s largest deposit of rare earth elements, enough to cover expected demand for decades and strategically located close to key markets. Rare earth elements are indispensable in facilitating the transition to a greener future, and demand is increasing exponentially. Currently, the global economy relies heavily on supply from China. Recognizing the need for greater self-sufficiency, the EU has recently adopted an ambitious strategy to significantly increase the domestic supply and processing of rare earth elements.
