Therapy is rigorous, repetitive and many times painful for adults. Amplify that 10X for the kids and adolescence, especially with disabilities and developmental delays. Therefore, there is no surprise that keeping kids focused and motivated during their therapy is difficult. Consequently, the lack of adherence leads to less than desirable outcomes. Furthermore, session cancellations, no shows, and drop offs yield in administrative, staffing, financial burden and ultimately a loss of revenue to the provider. And this is what we do at Recovr Health. We've created a platform that incorporates engaging mobile game therapies for kids and adolescence using computer vision. The idea of making therapy more fun with the games isn’t new. Some of the well known consoles have already done that for us. We take gamification, however, to the next level, beyond just the entertainment. We are improving patient engagement and compliance through fun activities using computer vision. Through prescribed home exercise programs we enable new revenue streams for the provider using Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM).
