Real Talk seeks to empower youth with the skills and language necessary to engage in political discussion with empathy, curiosity, and respect. Our proprietary curriculum strengthens members’ critical thinking, news literacy, and civil discourse skill set, and provides students with opportunities to apply their learnings through current event analysis, roundtable discussions, and team debates. We promote youth civic engagement at the local and national levels by participating in discussion with politicians, journalists, academics, and educators.
