Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct

Hospitals and Health Care

Overview

Founded in 2016 by a collaborative partner network including the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, UNSW Sydney, Health Infrastructure; and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, including Prince of Wales Hospital, The Royal Hospital for Women and Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Services; the Randwick Health & Innovation Precinct (RHIP) is one of the most comprehensive in Australia. A Precinct with a difference, RHIP maximises the benefits that come from physically positioning a globally recognised University adjoining some of Australia’s most reputable hospitals. The Precinct is recognised globally in areas of Children’s Cancer and Neuroscience, health and addiction, with leading aspirations in Virtual Health and Genomics and genetics - personalised medicine. A shared commitment to leveraging the strengths of all partners and collaborators to provide patient-centered clinical services across a patient’s lifespan in the one location, alongside established pathways and partnerships to accelerate the translation of research across all disciplines into new approaches in patient care ensures a compelling opportunity for industry to partner easily with clinicians, academics and innovators.
