Quilluminati, the Creative Writing Society, is a home for budding writers who come together every year to hone their flair for writing. Artists across genres flock here to help each other improve and grow through workshops, group meetings, and competitions. Quilluminati is an inclusive space like no other that recognizes bonds, identities, creativity, and fervor. Members of Quilluminati have been mentored by the renowned feminist Kamla Bhasin and Japleen Pasricha, founder of ‘Feminism in India’, who have also spoken at our annual fest on themes like ‘Uncensored’, 'Hiraeth - A Longing for Home’ and ‘Split’. We have been fortunate enough to host Vikramaditya Sahay, the queer poet-activist who is dismantling gender and sexuality norms through their work. In the past year itself, our members have bagged several prizes in inter and intra-college creative writing/slam poetry events. The work of our members has been featured in several publications such as Teen Belle Magazine, Headcanon Magazine, Nymphs Publication, and The Maple Anthology. Over the years, we have participated in events across various esteemed institutions, including most colleges of Delhi University, IIT Delhi, Mumbai, and Kanpur, all the way to the Delhi Poetry Festival. For the past four years, we have also been successful in organizing our annual fest, "Penorama", where students from many colleges come and showcase their works. They have also contributed to online blogs and platforms like 'Feminism in India' and 'SheThePeople'. From performing an encouraging slam poetry piece at Freshers to the Wall of Free Speech at Penorama, Quilluminati has always left its mark through words that pierce hearts.
