Overview

We work to relieve poverty across greater Sydney by providing donated furniture and whitegoods to those in greatest need, completely free of charge. Since 2012, we have provided thousands of pieces of furniture, whitegoods and other household items to over 500 people, alleviating the impacts of poverty, and significantly reducing the amount of unwanted material going to landfill. As well as having social impact, we aim to achieve sustainability and environmental impact through our activities. Our focus is on helping people in their time of need. Our clients are often setting up home after a major disruption in their lives, a period of homelessness, arriving in Australia as a refugee, leaving a home as a result of domestic violence or rehab or from a period in detention. We work with 50 social agencies across Sydney. We are always looking for more volunteers and donations, to help us help more people.
