Overview

PXiSE (pronounced ‘pice’), a member of the Yokogawa Group, provides the most effective software for managing the complexities arising from a 21st century grid. PXiSE software unlocks the potential of distributed generation to improve grid reliability and resilience, while increasing renewable energy output and helping ensure system balance and power quality. PXiSE’s primary products, a Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS), a Microgrid Controller, and a Renewable Power Plant Controller, help utilities, developers, and campus owners manage distributed energy resources (DERs) and empower DER owners to benefit from offering ancillary power services. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in San Diego, PXiSE has a global portfolio of 1.5+ GW of contracted assets encompassing, solar, wind, storage, electric vehicle, and thermal assets. PXiSE’s software-based controllers offer independent control of real and reactive power and deliver advanced control functionality and economic optimization in real-time, up to 60 hertz. With the first IEEE 2030.5 certified server in production, PXiSE’s innovations are helping to establish an efficient and reliable energy system by integrating renewable DERs into existing traditional infrastructure.
