The Purdue Institute for National Security (PINS) is an interdisciplinary institute that provides strategic access to Purdue's full spectrum of national security and defense research capabilities, talent and world-renowned facilities. PINS aims to enhance Purdue's visibility in the national defense ecosystem and streamline engagements with key stakeholders in government, industry and academia. Topical areas covered by PINS include microelectronics, energetics, hypersonics, cybersecurity, quantum, space and autonomy—top-priority technologies for the United States that are necessary to broaden defense capabilities and ensure economic security.
