PT. Indonesia Taroko Textile is the only one company in Indonesia that create synthetic woven fabric. PT Indonesia Taroko Textile Corporation (Taroko) was established in 1990. Taroko produces fabrics for Indonesia’s booming garment industry as well as for international markets. Taroko is a joint-venture company between Taiwan’s Taroko Textile Corporation – a textile manufacturer with more than 20 years of experience – and Indonesia’s Tjia Lam Seng Group – a garment accessories producer. Based in Purwakarta, West Java, the company is close to the resources: skilled labours, clean water and power. Taroko began commercial production in 1992 with capacity of three million yards per month. By 1996, the company was able to produce five million yards of fabrics per month. The installation of specialized looms and dyeing machines enable Taroko to accommodate growing orders and small scale custom productions. Taroko current production include quality nylon and polyester fabrics with variety of colors, textures and properties. Some of our global brand clients are Marks & Spencer, Nike, and Adidas. Woven Polyster and Nylon fabrics, weight range 42 -200 gr/m2, width 60”, plain or dobby weave, dyed with various specialties and finishing.
