Overview

The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter is approximately 150 members strong, representing public relations and communications professionals from across our region, from recent college graduates to mid-level and senior management professionals to C-suite leaders in agency, corporate and nonprofit settings. A PRSA Southeastern Wisconsin membership includes: --Regular professional development presentations --Ongoing networking events --Professional accreditation (APR) --Volunteer and community service opportunities --Special opportunities for Young Pros --Leadership roles through Board service --Recognition through our annual awards program, the Paragons Our chapter is part of a national organization, chartered in 1947, which is the world’s largest and foremost organization of public relations professionals. With more than 21,000 members, PRSA provides professional development, sets standards of excellence and upholds principles of ethics for its members and the multi-billion dollar global public relations profession. The national PRSA also advocates for greater understanding and adoption of public relations services, and acts as one of the industry’s leading voices on the important business and professional issues of our time. In addition, there are more than 10,000 students who are members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at colleges and universities here and abroad.
