Prometheus Team, is a research student team of the National and Technical University of Athens. The team’s department is the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National and Technical University of Athens and its members are undergraduate students from various scientific fields. These include Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc. Working under the pressure of demanding deadlines, the team’s members broaden their academic knowledge, theoretically and practically and gain great experience. Prometheus Team goal is to design and build the most efficient, battery powered, electric vehicles possible in order to compete in the annual international Shell Eco Marathon competitions against universities from all over the world. Preparing towards this goal its members work in a fully structured professional environment. Our vision is to bring light to sustainable and efficient solutions for the electric and generally the automotive industry as well as advance the battery – electric vehicle technology to help make in even more realistic and accessible by researching and getting in touch with high-level innovative products and pioneering ideas.
