Overview
Project Transformation ignites the potential of young people by creating space for children, college-age young adults, and churches to build transformative, mutual relationships with one another. Founded in 2012, Project Transformation’s summer and afterschool programs for children support their academic, physical, and social-emotional needs. Leading these programs are college-age young adults, who need meaningful ways to serve and explore future vocations, all while developing as young, principled leaders. As “PT Interns,” these emerging young leaders commit to a nine-week summer internship or year-long fellowship where they live in intentional community, lead programs for children, and meet with local leaders to explore various vocations in service. Our programs are strategically housed inside churches in the heart of low-income communities, offering churches an opportunity to reconnect with their changing neighborhood.
